Key Changes:
Mandatory CO2 Measurement: Explicit monitoring of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is now required, as dangerous concentrations often occur before oxygen levels drop significantly.
Simultaneous Testing: Gas detectors must be capable of measuring Oxygen (O2), Flammable Gases (LEL), and toxic gases (CO, H2S and now CO2) simultaneously.
Continuous Monitoring: The atmosphere must be actively monitored for the entire duration of the stay within the enclosed space.
